- A synthetic rubber based butyl extruded sealing strip
- Soft to medium density
- Only available in black
- Good UV resistance and very good chemical resistance to dilute acids and alkalis - does not dry out or go brittle
- Extruded onto a siliconised release paper making it easy to use
- Used for lap joining of Damp Course Membranes (plastic sheeting) under concrete flooring
- Used for sealing of panels in slurry storage tanks and silos
- Used by the Marine industry for sealing temporary ovens during the curing of composite-fibre structures and general sealing of components
- Used for sealing aluminium panels on truck bodies
- Available in 1mm and 2mm thicknesses and selected widths - can not be cut to non standard widths
